Mornings at Wild Sweet Williams

Wild Sweet William's Bakery opens its doors on South Main Street to a line that forms before the ovens cool. Founder Lisa Ford crafts bakes from scratch, including savory sausage kolaches and the legendary strawberry-and-cream-cheese Scone of the South. Arrive before eight in the morning if you want the pecan cinnamon rolls, as the pastry cases frequently empty well before closing.
The Midnight Oil Coffeehouse can be found on East Race Avenue, operating out of a restored home. It's not just a coffeehouse though, it also doubles as a specialty retail roastery and community parlor. Enjoy a specialty crafted iced coffee, along with a savory sandwich and grab some local graphic tees too.

Old Hippy Antique Mall is a sprawling maze on South Benton Avenue housing dozens of seasoned Arkansas pickers under one roof. The stalls turn over weekly with solid oak dressers, jadeite kitchenware, enamel advertising signs, and vintage hardware. Visit on a Wednesday morning when dealers restock their booths without the weekend foot traffic, and bring a tape measure for measuring rustic farm tables in the center aisles.

Natural Food Store

A reliable health food store, steeped in tradition, offering organic foods, quality supplements and expert advice. Serving our community for over 30 years. Head to the in-house beverage bar for tap kombucha and let their staff assist you in selecting from their small-batch raw honey.

The retail character here is shaped by skilled hands and patient collectors. Sprawling vintage emporiums house mid-century glassware and solid oak furniture salvaged from nearby counties, while independent craft collectives showcase regional woodworkers, quilters, and potters. Whether you are hunting for out-of-print paperbacks, cold-pressed olive oils, or small-batch pastries, the town rewards anyone who takes the time to look past the main highway.
